  • Vocational rehabilitation to Intellectual Disability.
  • Domestic ability development for women trainees to minimize their dependency at their home.
  • Providing hostel service to trainees from distance places.
  • To ouch safe human rights of Intellectual Disability.

About Us

Siri institute is offers its  Teaching and Training services since 1994 to the mentally challenged. Through its professionals for improves the life of Intellectual Disability and helps in learning sustainable life skills. SIMH approaches continuously maintaining its professional relation ship with Niepid and RCI which are professionalized institutions who helps in providing latest knowledge and achievements. The Institution is supported by MSJE, New Delhi.

About it’s Founder

Smt.D.Gopi Devi is the founder of the organization. She won Thirteen Times awards for her best service. 

1) 1995 Best Social Worker award by Rotary Inner Wheel Club, Peddapuram.

2) 1998 Best Social Worker award by Rotary Club, Kakinada.

3) 2001 Best Social Worker award by Rotary Club, Kakinada

4) 2002 Best Social Worker award by Rotary Club, Kakinada.

5) 2006      Vocational Employment    for   disabled by NADCAPKakinada.

6) 2010  Best Social Worker award  on 15th August by District Collector Kakinada.

7) 2016 State award of Seva Jeevika award by BTAA Tirupathi.

8) 2017  Best service award by Ramakrishna Mission, Kakinada.

9) 2017 Seva Ratna Award by Pride India, Bangalore,“SBCRWA” affiliated to (NYKSMinistry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.

10) 2017 Best Institute Award on 3rd December ('International Disability Day') by State Government of India at Karnool.

11) 2018 Best Services Award from Andhra Pradesh Teachers federation.

12) 2018 Best Services Award from Life Insurance Corporation of India at Peddapuram.

13)  2024  CSR Award from Top 20 NGO's in India New Delhi.

 She is very much involved in serving the Children with mentally challenged since 1994. Besides helping mentally challenged she also shows her motherly heart to other handicapped by providing monthly pension, procuring machinery and materials for self employment vice verse.  When she observed some poor and old destitute people, she moved deeply and tries to provide mid-day meals and medicines at least some persons among them.

     She convinced Govt. Officials to provide   mid-day   meals   to   day-scholars  (mentally  challenged) of  Prathipadu branch. Here we are providing some important topics on teaching      and     training    mentally challenged.
